One of the biggest challenges in shopping for an electric bicycle is understanding how far it will take you on a charge. The mileage advertised for this model is very conservative: it will likely take you much farther. This all depends on the level of the road, the rider's weight, the rider's strength, and the pedal assist level of the motor.  Here are two examples of how far I have stressed a battery charge.

I rode the bike 18 miles in a moraine (a mix of hills and flat land). At a full pedal assist level, the battery indicator lost only one or two bars.

Another route is on level ground (an old railroad converted to a bike path). I rode one direction 35 miles on pedal assist level 2 or 3. The motor was barely activated and I hit the midway point with all bars still visible on the battery indicator. I turned around to ride another 35 miles back home on level 4 and 5.

This bike is very capable.

I'm giving this four stars because I have a few complaints. But first let me say the good stuff. This bike is a beast (I mean that in a good way). I haven't had it too long but the battery life seems great. The ride is smooth as silk, and it really eats up hills in battery assist mode. Construction of the bike is solid. It was a breeze to assemble (with the one caveat below).

Okay now the complaints. The bike was damaged in transit. The derailleur hanger was badly bent. I contacted Addmotor and they sent me a new hanger for no charge. I ended up taking the bike to a bike shop to replace the hanger, and also to have them check out the derailleur itself (which was okay). Addmotor credited me the $45 the bike shop charged. So all that ended okay but it took way too long, and with way too many emails going back and forth between me and Addmotor. It should have worked like this: Addmotor should have delivered a replacement bike fully assembled, and hauled away the damaged bike. But companies don't work that way anymore, which is too bad.

Another complaint. The handlebars are set too low (I am exactly six feet tall). I ordered a stem riser to raise the handlebars and that took care of the problem. Addmotor should either include a stem riser with every bike, or build a bike with adjustable handlebar heights. This is a design flaw in my opinion.

Another complaint. The seat can be adjusted up and down, and it can be moved a bit forward and backward. But it cannot be tilted forward or backward. I would like to adjust the seat angle just a bit but it's not possible. I even had the bike shop check me on that, and they verified the design of the seat doesn't allow for the angle to be adjusted. That is a significant design flaw in my opinion. Addmotor doesn't sell seatposts on their website. I could buy an aftermarket seatpost but Addmotor uses some weird, nonstandard diameter posts and so the aftermarket seatposts that would work for this bike are kind of expensive.

One more complaint, although it's a small one. There's no place to secure a water bottle holder. That's another design flaw.

Finally, a recommendation for Addmotor. They should sell a rear rack with locking trunk bag, the kind where the bag slides into a track on the rack and locks in place. I've included a picture of a Topeak Explorer Rear Rack and matching Topeak Explorer Trunk Bag as an example. I had one on my last bike and I loved it. You can quickly and easily remove it and take it with you. Instead, I got a bag that attaches to the rear rack with velcro straps.

37 miles, 5000 ft of climbing, 1 battery load!
This is my first e-bike after decades of riding regular hardtail mountain bikes. I needed such a bike to handle the extremely rugged/steep/narrow backcountry gravel/dirt roads in the National Forest area around the VA/WV state line where I now live.
After several break-in rides totaling about 70 miles to get accustomed to this HEAVY DUTY bike, I took this on my first "real" ride just yesterday. It was a 37-mile loop up and over the mountains separating VA and WV (and up and over again coming back, of course) which includes 5000 feet of total climbing. It performed wonderfully!
I decided from my break-in rides that it might be possible to do it only using Pedal Assist Level 2 (PAS 2) the entire time - and it was! As I rode, I also decided to not go below 2nd gear on the climbs if possible. It totally worked! This let me get an awesome workout while pedaling up the 2 longest continuous climbs of about 1500 ft and 2000 ft. I got those 2 climbs in during the first 20 miles of the ride and it took 80% of the  first battery - at which point I swapped in the spare. I then had a LOT of downhill for the rest of the ride, and the 2nd battery never did drop down from it's full charge (5 bars) reading.
Absolutely exceeded my expectations.
There are other bikes from other manufacturers that appear to be very similar to the M-560, but they were all significantly more expensive from what I recall. So, I chose Addmotor. I am very glad I did!

I received my M-560 P7 bike a couple of weeks ago. I was waiting to get some use before writing a review. I now have about 250 kms on it and this bike is fantastic. I live in a city with big hills and it gets me to work and back, in a suit, with hardly a sweat. Fun to ride when not commuting and on the trails as well. Lots of power, great battery life and tons of comments on it wherever I go. The bike looks great in the product photos but the pictures don't do it justice. Very solid, smooth and enjoyable ride. Thinking of getting one for my wife too.

Only complaint was the shipping. I know this isn't Addmotors fault but FedEx messed up the shipping from start to finish. Delays, not showing up on days they said they tried to deliver etc. The bike came with a free gift, which was returned to the shipper by FedEx, and never resent. I will now be looking for a replacement saddle bag, the gift.
