I added a 1000w mid-drive motor and a rear differential from Utah trikes to my M-360. It now has all wheel drive and I can traverse any terrain without wheel spin or getting stuck. I suggest you find a very good bike mechanic who has experience working

Sixteen states cap eBikes at a max power of 750W; AR, CA, CO, DE, IA, ME, MI, MO, NV, NH, NC, PA, TX, UT, WA, and WI. MD has one of the strictest limits, at 500W.

Most states cap power at either 750W or 1000W. Once an electric bicycle reaches 1000w, it is more likely to be classified as a moped or scooter.

Six states specifically allow eBikes to have a max power of 1000W; these are Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Virginia. Only two states, Florida Mississippi, currently have no max power limit for electric bikes.

Most of your weight is on the rear wheels especially when going up steep hills. I added additional weight on the front which helped a lot
