Shipping Guide

ANNOUNCEMENT: Addmotor has temporarily stopped shipping to New York City (including Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island). Resumption of service to NYC is to be determined. The other cities of New York State are not affected and shipping services are available as normal.

COVID-19 Update: With various efforts, the current freight logistics have gradually stepped into a steady state. The in-stock order will ship out as soon as we can confirm the details and backorder shipping times are detailed on the product page. We are doing our best to make sure our customers can receive their bikes as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We offer FREE SHIPPING to all 48 Contiguous States. Due to shipping limitations, all of Addmotor's lithium-ion batteries are not being shipped separately to Hawaii, and Alaska at this time.

Taxes and custom
10% of the taxes will be applied to all orders delivered in California.

Processing Time
Your in-stock order will be shipped out from our warehouse within 1 to 2 business days after we received your confirmation email. Any orders placed over the weekend, holiday or orders received and confirmed after 1 pm on weekdays will be processed the next working day.

Transit Time
Once the item has been shipped, you will receive the tracking number immediately in the email provided to us during checkout. You also have an option to check the updated info in your Addmotor account. Delivery times will vary depending on how far the destination is from our El Monte warehouse.

International Shipping
We ship to Canada and will account for any custom fees. However, customers will be responsible for shipping expenses and taxes. You may refer to the checkout page for further details.

We currently don't offer to ship to Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories.
For existing customers in these territories, please contact us directly at sales@addmotor.com for servicing options.

Which carriers do we use?
We ship via UPS and FedEx ground for most electric bicycles, USPS for small parts and accessories(signature not required), and Road Runner and Estes Express freight for mopeds and tricycles. We order signature required delivery on every bike order over $300. You will need to have someone over the age of 18 present at the time of delivery to sign the order.

How to know if the bike is in stock?
Please select the bike color you like on the product page. Then the shipping time will be displayed.

From time to time, a product may run out of stock at our warehouse and the website wasn't updated when you placed your order. In that case, we will send you an email right after you place your order informing you of the backorder, what the expected time for arrival is, and what substitutes are available in case you are interested in getting a bike sooner.
The expected arrival time may change due to unforeseen circumstances like a shipment getting held up at the port upon arrival or the factory missing a certain part needed to complete the manufacturing process.
If the arrival time changes on your order, you can let us know whether you would like to keep the order, substitute for a different electric bicycle, or cancel the order altogether.
Once back orders arrive, we will be informing you by email of your estimated ship date and you will receive an email with tracking information within 1-3 business days.

We will do us every effort to make sure you receive the parcel in time, but we are not responsible for shipping delays, which can be affected by the shipping carrier, delivery destination, weather, holidays, or incorrect/insufficient delivery information.


1) Usually, we will process your order once you finish your payment. But sometimes we may have to verify your order before we process it by sending you an email or calling you. Your cooperation will be much appreciated.

2) Please provide us with a detailed and correct delivery address and a phone number so that we can deliver your order successfully. The customer will bear full responsibility for the loss of the parcel on the way due to the wrong delivery address.

3) We are unable to change the address once your order has been shipped out. Any and all expenses of modifying the delivery address after delivery will be covered by the customer.

4) If the delivery address is not wide enough for trucks to pass through, you may need to pick up your bike at a location designated by the carrier.
