Introducing the mechanical system of Addmotor EB2.0

You may want to pay more attention to our new battery with improved capacity or be more interested in the new EB-2.0 lighting system. Of course, we did not leave the mechanical system behind, Addmotor has done some changes and upgrades for improving the experience of riding the new bikes.

What remains unchanged is that we continue to use 6061 aluminum alloy frames and adjustable U-style curved handlebar. The handlebar can be adjusted up and down by the stem which allows you to find a perfect angle to sit in a comfortable position. But unlike the e-bikes we have launched before, this time we bring out a whole new polygon frame design which is reflected in the upper frame, lower frame, and the seat tube. To meet the needs of strong and sturdy riders, we have designed the seat post to a stronger build, it is thickened to 31.6mm*3.0mm. Not only that, all wires are organized and hidden inside the lower frame. Thus the entire bike looks neater and sharper.

The quick-released front wheel makes it easy to install. With 26”*2.3” Kenda tires fully covered with newly designed large convex glue tread patterns, the wheels can be much more anti-slip, durable, and suitable for different terrains. The reflective silver stripes sidewall increase your visibility at night. The bike comes with double-wall aluminum lightweight bike rims combined with 12G high tension spokes and a 100mm travel spring suspension fork. These components will guarantee you a smooth ride when you meet obstacles on rough terrain, allowing you to feel the excitement of speed!

Back then we used to use mechanical brakes. The EB-2.0 is an improvement catered to our customer’s want,hydraulic brakes with 180mm disc brake pads. Hydraulic brakes are more sensitive and thus, less effort will be needed to pull a stop. This type of brakes is prepared for overcoming complicated road conditions. What’s new is that the new e-bikes offer Shimano 7-Speed derailleur compared to the old 5-speed version with an extra protection guard on top of that.

You don’t have to worry about the weight of your cargo being too much for the bike. The rear rack of EB2.0 can hold a maximum load of up to 25 kgs(55 lbs). This weight capacity allows you to go grocery shopping and take your travel belongings. It’s even compatible with child seats on the market. Of course, we have also made improvements to the saddle which can ensure comfort when sitting on your e-bike. On top of that, one small handle is added to the saddle for lifting or moving your e-bike easier.
